You woman that make time to blog almost every day amaze me! I'm sorry it has been 2 months since my last post....hope a few of these pictures will update you on our little corner since then. It has been a busy summer with our convention preps and convention in August and September.
I am not near ready for this baby in 6 weeks either. I finally found a 3 piece crib set on e-bay...it was for pick up only but in Little Rock, AR. The best thing about it....the people selling it come to our area all the time and so they dropped it off at our front door 2 weekends ago. I found her bedding at a garage sale for $10 last summer...couldn't pass it up! I'm not a light pink kind of girl but I do like bright, rich colors...this set fits the description perfectly. I have her stuff set up in our room since the baby room is upstairs...didn't want to try climbing the stairs several times during the night! We will move her when she is sleeping through the night....Kaleb was doing this at 3 months so I'm hoping the same for this girl!

I have found several things at consignment and my sister in law, who has 2 girls, as loaned me some things. So, in this respect, I'm ready for a baby. I guess it's the selfish feeling of not getting sleep that I'm not ready for. I suppose the last trimester gets us ready for that part. We have down-sized our name list option to 4...I may be sending out a poll for y'all to help us out...in fact if you want to make a comment on the blog, feel free to. We want her to have my mom's middle name, Lee. Coming up with girl names have been difficult for Nathan and I. The names up for vote are: Briana (not prounced as -anna), Alexa, MacKenzie/MaKenzie and Mariah. I have always loved Jaydin for a girl but Nathan's step sister just had a boy and named him, Jaedin...congratulations Shanna!
Kaleb is still in school 2 times a week! He talks constantly! Some of his sayings...."probly", "think so", "that'd be fun" or "that'd be cool", "sure nough", "somebody look at me" (usually when daddy and I are talking and he has something to say.) His imagination is getting quite creative...I love listening to him play with his toys and telling certain animals what to do. He loves playing with his farm animals, tractors, trailers, 4-wheelers, and BOY stuff. He is pretty bossy so he likes to play with kids who are younger than him so he can boss them around...he'll be a great big brother.
We are still working on potty training but it is getting better. I haven't been too pushy these days since baby is about to be here and there may be some regression. Thankfully he is doing it mostly by himself. We had a recent 'messy' day where #2 was all over my kitchen floor because he pulled his underwear off and then stepped in it (smearing it everywhere). Then being naked and being boy he decided to prance around the kitchen...problem was he still had some stuck on his bottom causing more #2 to drop different places. Oh my...disaster! I later found where he had his original accident...urine all over the entry floor and because he had stepped in it, there were several foot prints. Talk about a floor cleaning day! Don't want to repeat that again! =)

Oh dear... I can related with the potty training story except for the fact Kekoa REFUSES to be potty trained! Craig and I are convinced he's going to still be in diapers when he's a teenager. Ugh. Thanks for "finding" me. :) Hugs, Lani & boys
How exciting!! You will be a family of FOUR! Darren and I were just talking and thinking about you! Siegel greetings from California and hope to hear about the little one soon!!
This is so fun! I love all your blogs, the crib looks adorable.
