A Very Bad Rash!

Poor girl! A few days ago, Mariah was put on some penicillin based anitibiotics for an ear infection! I noticed a rash to start develop and stopped the abx. It got sooo bad that I had to take her to the ER where I work. The doctors on were very surprised when they looked at her. Normally they would have to admit a baby with this kind of rash. They called it 'ERYTHEMA MULTIFORMA'...sounds bad, uh? They told me if she quit eating and drinking she would have to be admitted because often times this rash gets in their throat and causes issues. So glad my sister was in town to help me. With Nathan gone to California, I could of almost had a melt down!

Cardiology Follow-up

We had another visit today with the Cardiologist here locally in Lowell, AR! Glad they have doctors from Little Rock come up to check on their patients in this area! Anyway, all went well with Mariah's check up! There still is a tiny murmur but nothing that is concernable. We are so thankful!

Audrin is HERE!!!!

Doing what Auntie Audie does best....PLAYS!!!! So glad she can be here for almost 2 weeks! Helping me with the kiddos and projects!!! She is the best!

In Memory of Dorthy Rossow

Dorthy was a wonderful lady! She was in our meeting and will be missed! She died unexpectedly while on vacation. Her memorial service in Arkansas was today. We enjoyed our pheasant hunting trip to South Dakota with her and her husband, Harley. Several others joined us. Good memories.

Good-bye Nathan!

Nathan if off to his new job in Sacramento, CA with OptiSolar. His uncle, Jim, has already been working with them since January. In fact, Aunt Laura and the kids are all out there living in their RV! Nathan starts next Monday, 14th! YAY! WE are so grateful for a job opportunity at this point. I have several things yet to accomplish at home before I get to go out but this is an incentive enough to hurry up and get finished with my 'list'! I look forward to my sis coming next week! Bye, Babe and thanks for doing what it takes to provide for our family! I love you and appreciate you more than you'll ever know!

My Awesome Husband!

Nathan looks tired for a reason! The last 6 months have been very challenging! The rentals, and the construction business are both in the tank. Because of the economy his parents business is at a low and so they haven't had work for Nathan. He's been helping mostly out at their horse stables and working with the Equestrian Bridges non-profit organization for autistic kids. Lots of well spent time out there...amazing changes in these kids who have developed a relationship with a horse. Nathan has been filling out application after application for other work. I beleive he's filled out over 60 applications! Since Jan.24th 08, I started working in the Emergency Room at Springdale Northwest Hospital again. I do about 16-24 hours and more if I can or if there are open shifts. It's been fun to be back at it since Mariah was born! I just feel like my time is soooo limited now with work, 2 kids and keeping up with daily chores! No wonder I haven't blogged in sooo long (it's now Feb 2010 and I'm writing all of this!) Our lives at this point, July 08, are about to take a major turn that we never would of dreamed! Aren't we thankful that God has a plan and He can see the whole picture!
