In a very matter-of fact, serious voice, he says, "Mommy, cry" So, I begin to cry! And then....
The hero comes along....(in a sweet undeniable voice; while he stokes my face and then gives me hugs) "it's okay mommy. It's okay. Don't cry!" So I stop! But then the process starts all over ...'mommy, cry'! ....Again and again and again!!! He loves to be the one to make it all better!
